Welcome to Quakers Hillside Care Community

Quakers Hillside Care Community is centrally located in Sydney’s Hills District, close to local shopping precincts, clubs and community groups. An open design, with large windows that frame the view of leafy landscaped courtyards, is a feature of our Care Community. We have plenty of well-appointed living spaces, indoors and outdoors, to catch up with friends and family or enjoy quiet moments of reflection.

Care at Quakers Hillside

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Quakers Hillside

With close ties to our local community, many residents contribute to local charities through our long-standing knitting, gardening and men’s groups. Our function room is popular among loved ones for celebrating birthdays and special occasions. The diverse cultural backgrounds of our residents and team are part of the heart of our Care Community. Our chef is passionate about connecting food and culture and her decadent baklava is a favourite for morning tea. Regular connections with local school children are a wonderful way to nurture friendships and provide laughter and learning for everyone.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Quakers Hillside life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

I have nothing good to say about this place. my father was in there and I couldn't visit for 2 days as I was working when I did see him he could hardly breath and sounded terrible he had been sick for 2 days they did nothing . I had to push for an ambulance to be called even the ambos were horrified. my father had a racing heart and chest infection after that My father needed palliative care so a palliative nurse from blacktown hospital called and made my concerns known to the nursing home. the staff most of them are useless you use the call button and it takes forever for them to answer so if your loved one needed something urgently no one would come if your family member needs extra care PLEASE don't put them here the care they get is very poor left in a bed and forgotten about if I could give no stars then I would a horrible place very poor care finally I was not contacted when my father's life was coming to an end so I was not given the opportunity to be with him in the end this is unforgivable I regards to their response I was there almost everyday not my other family members and I don't believe a word said The care my father received at Wauchope prior to being moved closer to me set the bar and quakers hill fars very short I will not change my opinion on the service and care here its poor

Aged care excels in all the support provided to older people who need help in their own home or who can no longer live at home. It includes help with everyday living. assistive equipment and home modifications. The staff here is always on toes and go extra miles for the residents.

I have worked here for a while as a volunteer and can vouch that the staff are lovely and so are the residents. The facility is kept very clean, and there’s a strong focus on keeping everyone happy. Healthy and tasty meals are served daily. The center truly feels like a close-knit family community.
