Welcome to Maitland Grange Care Community

Maitland Grange Care Community is centrally located near Rutherford Marketplace and just minutes from the Maitland town centre, our Care Community offers both serenity and easy access to local amenities. With well-appointed living spaces, manicured gardens and colourful flower beds to enjoy, there are ample spaces to spend time with family and friends. We’re known for our country-style hospitality and our companion model of care fosters a sense of family and belonging among residents.

Care at Maitland Grange

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Maitland Grange

We have an active Men’s Shed group that gets involved in all sorts of projects which benefit our local community. Friends, family and our volunteers regularly bring animals of all shapes and sizes to visit, and we have close ties with local school and childcare groups where friendships are nurtured and laughter shared.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Maitland Grange life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

I completed my first placement here as a bachelor of nursing student and i could not have faulted the facility, all the staff are really kind and caring and the residents are looked after with the upmost respect and are treated like family !! I really enjoyed my time here and appreciated all the help from the staff taking me under there wing and making this such a positive learning experience!!

I was one of the assistant nurses working at Maitland Grange and I had the opportunity to meet some lovely people in my time there. Many of the people at Maitland Grange are very compassionate and understanding. Just to name a few we have the General Manager Kirsty who is always warm and bubbly, Angie and Jess who are part of the admin staff, always welcoming to new members of the community and their families. We have the Care Manager Trudy who is consistently looking at care plans and developing new ways to better improve the outcomes for the residents. They also have some wonderful Registered Nurses with years of experience and a wealth of knowledge on patient care. Lastly, they have many assistant nurses helping with the daily care of the residents making them feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Maitland Grange Care Community!

Had my brother in law a resident at Maitland Grange Care Community home for 4 months roughly just recently unfortunately he was admitted into hospital and was very sad that he was unable to come back to the home he spoke very highly of all the care team and the care he was given while there there was not one thing he never spoke highly about loved the place in general.

Our mum has only been in here for a couple of days but the staff have already grown attached to her, and she has grown attached to them as well. Angie, Rebecca and others have been nothing but caring and compassionate .We can recommend this home to anyone.
