Welcome to Tingira Hills Care Community

Tingira Hills Care Community is set in the Lake Macquarie region with sweeping elevated district views, our Care Community provides a welcoming and inviting environment for residents and families, offering residential aged care and assisted living in the one location. Our modern and well-appointed Care Community offers a variety of living spaces to spend time with family and friends, including extensive gardens, breezy terraces, and comfortable lounge areas.

Care at Tingira Hills

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Tingira Hills

Our resident green thumbs enjoy tending to the gardens in our many outdoor terraces and courtyards. We have strong community ties, including visitors who bring pets who delight our residents in providing comfort and companionship. Our creative arts and craft groups enjoy making art that we display throughout our home. Our chef is known for cooking up delicious meals that satisfy all kinds of tastes.

We have single, en-suite, and companion rooms available and in the Room Options below + = Bedroom is located within an area of the Care Community offering an additional services package.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Tingira Hills life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

After searching for a suitable fit for care for my mother I found Tingira Hills and could not be happier. The level of care given to mum is like they are caring for their own loved one. Mum is constantly smiling and loves the variety of daily activities and the everchanging food menu.

My mother-in-law has been with Tingira for over 2 years and I have never been able to fault the care and compassion of the staff there.. My kids visit often and join mum for lunch and even activities in the school holidays. We want to say thank you to all the staff for making this a great experience

My mum was in Tingira Hills Nursing home at Mount Hutton for just over a year before she passed away. I used to visit my mum nearly every day. I can say the food always looked nice and was always clean and tidy. But going nearly every day I did see a lot that went on. I wouldn't recommend this home for care. Going nearly every day I meet a lot of others visiting there loved ones and the things they told me that had happened to there loved ones was very upsetting to hear. There was a big turn over of staff not a good sign. There was a handful of staff that did a good job though. The time my mum was there I think she got offered about 4 times to go on the bus. Quiet a few times there would be a handful of people in the TV room with no TV on they were just sitting there looking at a black screen. When I would ask someone if they could put the TV on most of them would say to me they don't now how to work the TV. 🙄 . So many staff to don't now how to put hearing aids in. Pretty bad when so many older people wear hearing aids.
