Welcome to Canterbury Place Care Community

Canterbury Place Care Community is located in a peaceful suburban street, with easy access to local shops, Campsie RSL and Belmore Sports Ground. We provide a happy and loving place for people from all walks of life, with tranquil gardens and courtyards throughout our Care Community ideal for enjoying visits from family and friends or quiet moments of reflection. Our diverse mix of cultural heritage is a point of connection for residents and team, and our companion model of care fosters a sense of family and belonging among residents.

Care at Canterbury Place

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Canterbury Place

When the sun’s out our green thumbs enjoy tending to our plants and being out in the garden. Sharing their cultural heritage through the food is important to our residents, and our weekly menus are chosen together by our residents and chef. Our residents are actively engaged in their culture and have taught one another Mah-jong, calligraphy, how to cook favourite recipes, prepare yum cha, and brew traditional Greek and Lebanese coffee.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Canterbury Place life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

My beautiful Mum has been a resident at Canterbury Place since mid January. The Staff and residents have shown nothing but care, warmth and kindness not only with my mum but my whole family. We have all felt very welcomed, with my mother being very comfortable and happy making new friends. My Mum is always treated with dignity and respect, and we feel confident and comfortable knowing she is well cared for, from the nurses through to kitchen, cleaning, administration and the amazing staff in the laundry. The residents always have lots of great quality food and they are always active and occupied.
