Welcome to Epping Meadows Care Community

Epping Meadows Care Community is nestled in a quiet residential suburb in northern Melbourne, with local parks, reserves and the amenities of Westfield Plenty Valley nearby. We enjoy leafy views across the meadow that our Care Community was originally named after, and residents enjoy spending time outdoors on our spacious terrace, tending to raised garden beds or socialising together. 

Care at Epping Meadows

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. Our state-of-the-art wellness centre enables residents to benefit from a holistic approach to wellbeing, rehabilitation and restorative care in a welcoming environment. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Epping Meadows

Residents enjoy tending our gardens, cooking and participating in creative arts. Music enthusiasts often play our piano and our sewing station is popular with residents who are handy with a needle and thread. When the weather’s good, residents spend time outside on the terrace where alfresco dining is also available. We have strong ties to the local community and our retirement village neighbours are part of our extended family, often joining in activities together.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Epping Meadows life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

Epping Meadows is a place where the staff are genuinely kind and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of my Mother, and other residents whom reside there. The staff are friendly, warm, always communicating important things to my sister and I when necessary and are positive, and there's a lovely caring feel to the environment which they bring, which you can see that they're also happy working there. It's a welcoming place that's also clean and there's an array of activities and events happening weekly which keeps those there stimulated. Thank you for all that you do to ensure my Mother is cared for on a daily basis, I'm very grateful for this.

We tried two other facilities before coming back. Mum was first here we on respite. She is now a permanent resident I would highly recommend this facility. While no place is without its issues the management team here are truly dedicated and genuine about caring and making the stay as best as possible. The in-house physiotherapist is fantastic. He really cares about his clients.

My mother moved into the Epping Meadows Care Community in September 2023 and she has since improved in her health and overall wellbeing. Although her dementia continues to progress, she is in better spirits, healthier, safer, and happier than when she was at home. The dedicated staff have provided exceptional medical and physical care, such as the physiotherapy and visits from a General Practitioner, and also nurtured her emotional and social well-being with activities to match her interests. The daily social interactions in particular have brought a renewed sense of joy and vitality to her life. Her spiritual needs continue to be met by regular visits by a priest as well as staff who pray with her–which was suggested by staff, and I know my mother is deeply grateful for this. It is clear that staff are dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging environment for all residents. There is great peace of mind knowing my mother is in such capable and caring hands, and I am thankful for the profound impact you continue to make in her life. Keith Storace

I highly recommend Dr. Amandeep for physiotherapy. My wife went to him with joint pains in multiple areas He is kind, friendly and a very good listener. His compassion and the way to explain everything is commendable. After every session, She felt stronger and more confident. Dr. Amandeep doesn't guide based on "one size fits all". Instead, he gives customised therapies which gives amazing results. She is recovering from her chronic pain and we are confident that his knowledge and skill can help in good recovery.

From the very first session, it was clear that Amandeep is not only highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate. His tailored treatment plan is both challenging and encouraging, ensuring steady progress at every stage. He took the time to explain each exercise, its purpose, and how it would contribute to her recovery, which significantly boosted her confidence and motivation. Dr.Aman Parmar also demonstrated remarkable patience and empathy, always listening to her concerns and adjusting the therapy as needed. Thanks to him, my wife regained much of strength and mobility. I recommend Amandeep to anyone in need of physiotherapy services. His expertise, kindness, and commitment to patient well-being is truly outstanding. From the moment I had my first meeting with the team at Epping Meadows regarding our Mum needing full time care, I was impressed with how warm and welcoming this home is. Since our Mum has became a permanent resident at Epping Meadows, she has been treated and cared for with so much respect. The staff are wonderful and I cannot fault the constant communication regarding her care. It is clear that the staff really do care about the residents, it is not just a job. To know our Mum is being so cared for has made this transition so much easier for her and for us. I highly recommend this facility.

We recently inspected a number of facilities in the northern suburbs, cross checking google ratings with government provider ratings. Epping Meadows Care Community came up within the top 10 facilities in the area. They have excellent facilities, from a Wellness Centre, to café, courtyards, and breakout spaces. Their lifestyle program was comprehensive and we were particularly impressed with how tailored things were – for example they had set up separate tables for residents who had particular interests in various activities. The General Manager was abreast of various KPIs from use of too many medications, to restrictive practices. The knowledge was further reflected in the actions which the facility have been taking. Above all else, was the buzz we felt when walking through the facility – the residents, mobile or others, were smiling and seemed happy. The follow up support has been timely and helpful. Well worth the visit to explore a place for your loved one.
