Welcome to Berkeley Vale Care Community

Berkeley Vale Care Community is located on the Central Coast in a peaceful spot near Tuggerah Lake and Chittaway Bay, with local beaches and parkland around the corner. Berkeley Vale Private Hospital and medical amenities are across the road and Westfield Tuggerah is just 10 minutes away. Our extensive gardens are a feature of our Care Community, with lovely sun-filled courtyards offering leafy views, and plenty of space to socialise, take a walk, or enjoy quiet moments of reflection. Our Care Community is inclusive and welcoming, and our companion model of care fosters a sense of family and belonging among residents.

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily Living at Berkeley Vale

Our resident pets are an important part of our care community and provide comfort and companionship to residents. Our aviary is especially popular and is looked after each day by resident volunteers. With expansive gardens on our doorstep, spending time outdoors enjoying our gardens and nature is part of the rhythm of our Care Community.

Great facility, well managed and great staff. Moved my Mother to Berkeley Vale Care Community in May this year from QLD. From the moment of my first enquiry to date I am very happy with BVCC. From the admin team that went out of their way to ensure the move for Mum was seamless and as easy as possible (many thanks to K & K) to the caring staff that go above and beyond to make Mums days great (again thanks to G and M) I can not show enough appreciation for what the team at BVCC do. This is a facility that do care about their residents and listen carefully to concerns, feedback and requests from residents and their families. Nothing has been a problem. Great team lead by great management.

Working as a clinical nurse educator for a university this past week, I had to facilitate 4 brand new nursing students, and my first impression of this facility was "WOW, what a joyful place this is for both the residents and all of the facility staff". Everyone was helping and working harmoniously and cheerfully together. This wonderful and joyful vibe continued each consecutive day that my nursing students and I attended, and I believe it is reflective of the facility's managements personal and professional values and standards of care. I would like to express my heart felt gratitude to the entire staff at Berkeley Vale Nursing Care, for the exceptional care and attention they provide to my mother. The compassion and professionalism demonstrated by each member of the team is truly remarkable. From the moment my mother arrived, she was welcomed with warmth and kindness. The staff have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure her comfort and well-being. Their patience, empathy, and dedication have made a significant difference in her daily life. The nursing and caregiving staff are always attentive and responsive, addressing any concerns promptly and with genuine care. The activities coordinater has been wonderful in engaging my mother's in various programs that kept her active and happy. I am particularly grateful for the open communication and the way the staff keep me informed about my mother's health and any changes in her condition. I have not visited anyone in a nursing home since my grandmother was in one. My memory of that was not a good one. I have a family friend who resides at Berkeley Vale and I have to say I’m was extremely impressed with this place. The way the staff treat the residents is just beautiful. It is very homely and is nothing like the place ingrained in my memories. My friend seemed very happy there which was comforting. If you are looking for a care facility for a family member I would highly recommend this as a great option.

Mum moved into care in June this year as an Alzheimer's Dementia resident in need of full time support. She couldn't be happier. The staff are truly amazing, delivering a level of compassion above any job requirement. Their kindness and diligence are providing Mum the best life experience possible.
