Sale Gardens Care Community is situated near the expansive Gippsland Lakes network, we are ideally located in a leafy, peaceful setting near to the bustling regional centre. Our warm and gracious Care Community is nestled among beautiful landscaped gardens, with sunny and shaded sitting areas ideal for catching up with family and friends or enjoying moments of quiet reflection. We offer country-style hospitality with a strong sense of community at the heart of our home.

Care at Sale Gardens

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Sale Gardens

Food and activities are important to our residents, and our menus are chosen together by our residents and chef. Residents are regular participants in the Sale Agricultural Show, sharing their cooking and crafting skills, and we’re well-known in the community for our annual garden show which is also popular. Our resident green thumbs who enjoy tending our flower and veggie gardens, and others enjoy playing or listening to our beautiful organ.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Sale Gardens life –so you can enjoy your day, your way.

My precious mum came here after 2 years in an aged care in forest hills where she never left her room and the facility was very hospital like. Sale gardens was like a home to her in her final months she was a different person enjoying movie night with other residents, going to meals, sitting in the lounges socialising and she gained weight. Most of all she always had a big smile on her face and the fantastic staff all loved her and treated her like family. Saddened to say it was cut short by a fall which in surgery she never returned. Both her and I got to have regular visits and outings home because of this wonderful home.
