Paynesville Gardens Care Community is located in the beautiful Gippsland Lakes region surrounded by waterways and parklands, with all the amenities of a regional town just minutes away. Nestled among sprawling landscaped gardens and courtyards, we offer expert care and warm, country-style hospitality. Our Care Community has well-appointed indoor and outdoor living spaces, with a bar and hairdressing salon, supporting a lively and meaningful lifestyle. 

Care at Paynesville Gardens

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Paynesville Gardens

Our Care Community is a music lover’s delight, with residents either playing instruments or enjoying listening to tunes new and old. Our pool table is the scene of friendly competition particularly among our men's group, and our gardens are a haven for residents who enjoy putting their green thumbs to work. We encourage residents to pursue their interests be it painting or art therapy, or enjoying Virtual or Augmented Reality experiences that support cognition and reminiscence.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Paynesville Gardens life –so you can enjoy your day, your way.

My Mum stayed in this aged care home for a period of several years. I call it a home with good reason, it was her HOME. The rooms are great, plenty of activities, friendly knowledgeable staff, nutritious meals. The team really make an effort to get to know the residents and their families to ensure a supportive, protective and nurturing environment. Medical care is provided promptly when required with consultation of family to ensure care needs are met to the satisfaction of all. Recent changes to Management have seen Paula take the lead in enhancing the service and facilities. I have no doubt that her care and leadership will ensure to future of this facility to benefit everyone. A highly recommend facility that will care for loved ones as if they were their own family.

Was lucky to work there for about 6 months as a Traveling RN. Most of the staff were nice and easy going. You can see they love and care for the residents like they were their own grandparents. Lots of family/relatives working together [small town thing]. Management was easy going especially Paula and takes time to listen and work with staff and knows her stuff around the residents. Chef Moses is a God send with his cuisines and they didn’t mind feeding staff like some places do. I would work there again given the chance.
