Welcome to North Lakes Terrace Care Community

North Lakes Terrace Care Community is located in the heart of the North Lakes Health Precinct. Our Care Community enjoys the very best that the Moreton Bay community has to offer, including specialist healthcare, extensive shopping destinations and thriving community clubs. Our Care Community is modern yet homely, elegant and full of life. Expert clinical care is complemented by a lifestyle where residents can socialise with friends and family at our onsite café, enjoy being pampered in our beauty salon, or soak up the sweeping district views from one of our many terraced balconies.

Care at North Lakes Terrace

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at North Lakes Terrace

Our raised garden beds are popular with residents who like to spend time outdoors admiring the different varieties of plants, and keen gardeners who enjoy growing fresh herbs for cooking. Our chef cooks up the fresh produce in delicious and hearty home-style meals. Outings to nearby Lake Eden and the Redcliffe foreshore are popular, as is maintaining connections with children at the local kindergarten.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Lakes Terrace life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

I worked at this amazing facility as a student doing 3 weeks placement and it was the best experience ever! I cannot wait to come back! The staff are so caring, always willing to help. The residents are just so lovely and funny! The love and care these residents receive is outstanding and I couldn't recommend North lakes terrace enough. It was an absolute pleasure working along side this amazing company. Thank you everyone!

Everytime I've enter the home I'm always welcomed with the friendliest team members, nothing seems to be too much hassle and they're always very helpful, the home is always very clean and presentable, the residents seem to be happy and content in their surroundings, the atmosphere seems to be always exuding a positive vibe.

The staff at the residence are so caring and compassionate. I would like to give a special mention to Rachael, she helped my wife during such a difficult time with her Father and looking for someone for him to live as his health deteriorated. Rachael organised an appointment within 24 hours for my wife to tour the residence and to see if this was a suitable fit for her Father. When we were discussing the residence with her Father he seemed genuinely excited to move in and was excited to meet Rachael and the team. Unfortunately his health deteriorated and he never got to meet Rachael but I would recommend this residence to anyone needing care and support. The whole team seem very kind, caring and compassionate. Thank you so much for helping my wife during such a difficult time.

I came to North Lakes Terrace to visit a family friend. This place is well run, staff are very friendly and they asked me if I was ok and directed me to the right floor. Residents seemed happy and they had live entertainment on. Great experience on my visit despite all the pressure the Aged Care sector seems to face. Well done!!

Our father has been living at Opal in Northlakes since late 2023 and he’s gone from being extremely unwell and frustrated at having to move into care, to being highly satisfied with the level of care and meals and feeling right at home in (new) excellent health. All thanks to the amazing staff! 🌟

Wouldn’t let dad live anywhere else (unless we could afford 24/7 nurse at home). COVID is rampant on dad’s floor, residents isolated in their rooms and permanent staff unable to work. Our family visit twice daily to assist with feeding. All the Care staff are wonderful. The cleaner is so polite, he doesn’t enter room while residents have visitors because he respects ‘their time’. Thank You Opal for your care.

What an amazing experience being a part of North Lakes Terrace ANZAC service. So much thought and hard work had obviously been put in by the lifestyle staff and others to make this ceremony as moving and respectful as it was. You could openly see the residents responding emotionally to this touching ceremony. Having served for 27 years in the Australian Army it was great to see that the format was exactly as it should be. Keep up the great work, an A++++++ to all. Congratulations. Selwyn King
