Welcome to Bankstown Terrace Care Community

Close to Bankstown City Gardens, there are ample public transport options and Bankstown Central Shopping Centre is just 10 minutes away. Our Care Community is modern, welcoming, elegant and full of life.

Care at Bankstown Terrace

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our wellness centre provides in-home rehabilitation services, and we have two memory care neighbourhoods provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We know that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily Living at Bankstown Terrace

Our exceptional clinical care is complemented by a lifestyle where residents can socialise with friends and family at our onsite café, enjoy being pampered in our beauty salon, or soak up the district views from one of our many outdoor terraces. We encourage our residents to pursue their interests whether it be painting or art classes, singing in our resident choir, or enjoying our Virtual or Augmented Reality experiences that support cognition and reminiscence. We have an active group of card players who gather around our card table each afternoon for friendly competition, and our men’s group enjoys visits to the sports club next door for a drink and a yarn.

With us, you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Bankstown Terrace life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

Here chef kopil raya majhi is a man of excellent. i worked in different branches of opal but i have seen him tremendous. i have seen him a man of cool, well-organised, sincere towards workers and managing these big kitchen in a such a nice way.

It's difficult to realize you need to have full time care. Bankstown Terrace offered me a place to call home, allowed me free reign to fashion my room so that I'm totally comfortable. It's lovely here. I have no complaint but am happy to report that management is always open to suggestions..

Hands down one of the worst place to work at. They won’t approve sick leaves and when they do they will not replace you and always want the staff to work short, is it only the manager doing it for benefits or the higher ups want to do? I want to know. Please don’t admit your family here in case you want them to hear the staffs are short everyday and unable to assist them. Atleast hire enough staffs to cover the shifts and don’t give the employees a hard time. Thank you.

I would to give a negative review if there was one. Never have seen such a aged care that doesn’t follow the rules and policies that even a simple organization has to follow. All the staffs are not satisfied with the management. Might be good if the management is changed.

Exceptional Care and Warmth We recently needed to find an aged care home for a loved one, and after visiting several places, we were incredibly fortunate to find this facility. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed with warmth and compassion. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure residents are not only well-cared for but truly feel at home. The environment is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with rooms that offer all the amenities you could hope for. The variety of activities keeps residents engaged and active, and the food is excellent, with options to suit individual needs and preferences. Most importantly, the team here is exceptional. The carers, nurses, and staff are always kind, patient, and attentive, treating everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve. There’s a strong sense of community among the residents, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely care about their wellbeing. Knowing that a registered nurse is always on hand and that specialists are available for additional support has given us immense peace of mind. We couldn't be more grateful for the care and support provided. This home truly feels like a safe and welcoming place, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be treated like family.
