Welcome to Tweed River Care Community

Tweed River Care Community is conveniently located in the centre of Tweed Heads. Our Care Community is within minutes of Tweed Mall Shopping Centre, Tweed Heads Bowls Club and the beautiful beaches of the region. Our residents enjoy socialising outdoors in our tropical gardens and courtyards, or in our cosy indoor lounges. Our cafe is a lovely inviting spot to catch up with visiting family and friends.

Care at Tweed River

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. Our state-of-the-art wellness centre enables residents to benefit from a holistic approach to wellbeing, rehabilitation and restorative care in a welcoming environment. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Tweed River

We’re a friendly and welcoming Care Community with plenty to do. Residents enjoy visits from pets of all shapes and sizes and our creatives enjoy arts, craft and music. Our gardening group tends to our seasonal produce gardens, growing fresh ingredients for our chef to cook up in hearty, home-style meals. Our memory care neighbourhood is a safe and secure place for residents living with dementia to engage in activities that support reminiscence and independence.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Tweed River life –so you can enjoy your day, your way.
